Installation and Curing

HD1685 is installed on the exterior surface of the windshield. The supplied installation process does not require a heat gun or heat shrinking.

Installation solution: Mix 30 ml of tear-free, pH-neutral, chemically non-reactive baby body wash with 500 ml of purified water. Installers unfamiliar with the film should adjust the body-wash amount according to their installation procedure.

  • Allow 48–72 hours for the film to cure and bond fully to the glass.
  • Do not wash the vehicle during the first 48–72 hours.
  • Minimize windshield-wiper use until the film has cured.
